Interesting, I’m curious why you were unable to recreate this last year in this post:

The effect on the 2-seam fastball relies on cut, or gyro spin. Pitching machines cannot do that. On the changeup, one gains something that acts like gyro as the direction of the ball goes from horizontal to downward. This is exciting because we can replicate this with a machine. “Laminar Express” requires a human or a very rare machine.
